Guys,

What time do you plan on starting the tournaments for the various games?

Please can we try and play at least a couple rounds on Friday night (especially since there should hopefully be a great turnout and hence longer tourneys) as a number of us like/need to leave on the Saturday evening. If tourneys end at 3am Sunday morning, it's a bit of a rash sometimes.

I mean hey, we might be having such a great time that we won't want to leave on Saturday at all, but even so, it's nice to get the SRSBSNS out the way on Saturday so we can chill the rest of the LAN.

Nick (vsd) this is directed mainly at you because I know you like to stroll in with a hangover at 11am Saturday morning I would like to start Qrushing TwG ASAP!

Also soz for spamming but would like to know if frag is starting early?as then it is possible for the tourneys to start early?

how can you start the tourney early alot of us are still working , or have to wait for parents to bring them to frag.

keep the tournament times the same rather start them at an allotted time as per normal lets say 8.

or depending the amount of teams to start at 10 am on SAT thus giving some teams time to prac and get their strats on.

this is the biggest lan of the year in kzn and we need time to prepare as there are really awesome prizes , cant just rush and start tourney . not everyone can take friday off.

I agree with starting at 8 on Friday but not sat. There are other tournaments and if gets chaotic squeezing all the games into one day. Don't say DOTA on friday and COD sat coz we tried it before and it failed.
There are 4 tournaments going on. If the games are all spread out and games are played when they can be then awesome, let it be done.
I say let the admins of COD, DOTA, Starcraft, CSS, Xbox? e-mail each other and make a structured time list that should be followed. And let there be random 30min slots which is for free for lucky draws so ppl don't get distracted during comps.

Guys the main reason we starting so early is that when the Vip guest arrive IE sponsors I want to be able to entertain them and not have to solve general Lan problems

10:10 - 14:00 Solve all problems
14:00 Fun Comp for prize
18:00 Vip guest start to arrive give them a tour of Frag
20:00 Official opening
20:15 Comp registration open for Cod 4 and Dota
20:30 Curry and Drinks with Vip guest
21:00 Comps start Dota Cod 4
22:00 End of round 1


Round 1 and Round 2 of Cod4 and Dota and Starcraft I want played on Friday night
