OCZ Vertex 2 is perfect for what you are wanting. This is a MLC (Multi Cell) drive and is fast.
Unless ofcourse you want the ultimate best, then look for a SLC (Single Cell) SSD drive which costs alot more, but will last a lot longer and is a lot faster!!
