i dont know about you but, i think it was vendetta, i was a victim of hax , cos im sure no one no matter how good u are can shoot u from the otherside of the map, ie there spawning point, when im still in mine, so i am thinking that is cs1.6 is played the admin must go around to every computer and make sure there is no cheating going on

As to hax detection, if each clan is together, its not hard for an admin [or even another member of another team] to watch them.

Oh, and in de_nuke you can do a +/- 20 dmg wallshot from spawn to spawn assuming that you are in a specific spawn and they are as well.

Source may be whats hot in SA at the moment, but until people realise "Omg, there are other countries in the world that play computer games", and move back [competitively] to 1.6, then GL.

We aren't talking about hax here, i just happened to mention the fact that you can see through walls because of the graphics. Yes of course there's hax in every game but i wasn't arguing about that...read my posts again...

@doug: Doubt he would. Requests would come from around 90 different PC's in SA, and more from overseas.

@ frozen, well then what are you complaining about? Being able to see through walls is a mapswim/wallhack so i.e. its a hack i.e. you will get banned for using it, regardless on how good quality your graphics are.

Hey guys.

I would just like 2 get my 2c in here... All offical (Ranked) International Comps such as kode5 , eswc , wcg and so on, are all 1.6... I am a source player, but 1.6 game play is much better. The reason why our country fails is because we have a MAIN team, DC and they always won every comp. Thats why most of the Community changed over to source. But i think getting 1.6 back would be insain.

And for the one guys remark about see'ing through the walls... PISS OFF. Dont come fulling these pages up with [BLEEP]... And skill is experiance / Aim.... Nearly all the well knowen source players came from 1.6.

Seeing as that's all you can say about the subject, i would say that you're the one filling up the pages with "[BLEEP]".

Please read the rules as to what a proper reply consists of instead of just "PISS OFF" as that is uncalled for and could cause disturbance on the forum. Here's something that might help you out: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=637

Yes, every game has its faults and some of us (like me) will just have to accept it as i have already. So if the final decision is 1.6 then let it be 1.6.

Furthermore, i would like to say that if this is the kind of response that i get for a post that was OVER with yesterday (PAST TENSE for those that might not understand) then i won't be voicing my opinion anymore and please don't say that it's not over with because Noxville didn't carry on with the argument therefore the argument ended with whoever replied last. A poll was also set up to resolve the argument.

Soon as there are more votes coming in for CS 1.6 than Source I would like to know how many teams actually plan on coming to the event....

If all the votes come in from guys who are not going to participate then this poll is useless....
