First up, compliments of the festive season to all our FRAG'gers. We hope you had a fantastic holiday break and are well rested for another year of awesome lans and gaming in general. Next up, next event takes place this month, 30th January to be precise. As usual from now on, we'll be having the event at Edgewood Campus Dininghall, UKZN. This is just off Marianhill Road in Pinetown. The event will start at 7pm and will finish as per usual on Sunday at 9am. Some exciting news for FRAG this year, some yet to be confirmed, others are a definite: - we have a new COD4 tournament director, Martin aka Godf@ther will be the main tournament director for the first event in January with Keith aka Phobiac at his side assisting him. Godf@ther was previously and SGS admin so we are hoping for a seamless and smooth COD4 tournament. Evax will ofcourse be on hand for any decisions that might need to be made. - Nick from NSF has kindly agreed to assist with the running of the DoTA tournaments and will be setting up the ruleset, etc. - talks are in progress with Arena 77 and the possibility of bringing the Dreamhack Final Qualifier's here to Durban. Nothing is set in stone yet, once it is, we'll erect it on this website for all to see, so keep your fingers crossed as this will be a big event for the KZN gaming scene. - FRAG has also restructured it's team slightly with roles being relooked at and responsibilities being shared in a more equal way as well as FRAG working on upskilling all of our internal staff to be on the same level as that of the top LAN admins in the country. It's a work in progress in preparation for our next Showcase event. - as for sponsors, 2 major sponsors have agreeded to sponsor 8 events for the year, with the sponsorship for the Showcase still to be decided on. This looks to be a great year for winning at FRAG for all our gamers. Best you dust the cobwebs and dust off your pc from the holiday slowdown and start practicing... That's about it for now, but lastly, certainly not least, a BIG THANK YOU to all those of you that attended the Showcase event in December last year. We have received both positive and negative feedback, both which are welcome and are crucial to us organising our LANs for the gamers, by the gamers... all we can really say is, "if you weren't there, you missed out... no matter what anybody says..." See you on the 30th - remember to book on langames. If you need any further information, please contact
